I was searching for a pet bowl when I came across one made with Edo Kiriko cut glass, and I was instantly drawn to the design. It is also built so it will not tip over, so I felt safe using it and decided to buy. In daily use it has a lovely weight and is beautiful — I am so glad I bought it.
First of all, the design is superb. For a traditional craft handmade by an Edo Kiriko artisan, the price is entirely fair.
It looks wonderful as home décor, too. It is incredibly photogenic.
I bought it in both red and blue. It is a limited edition as well, so it was a great purchase.
I am so happy to be able to pass Japanese traditional culture on to my dog.
There is only one design for now, but I would love to see bowls in many other designs too.
I was a little worried that a glass bowl might break, but it is made much sturdier than ordinary glass, which put me at ease.
Absolutely fantastic!
I really love the design and the concept. The high price cannot be helped, but it does mean I cannot buy very many.
